"Message 11144 this forum : 24 Apr 2001 - I have found no relationship to the Mrs Cornelia Bozeman in the above post to date.
However, my gg-aunt Cornelia [Nunnelee] has been found: she was b abt 1839 Ga & died in Texas. In 1867, she married Phillip M. Burt, & her family is then found 1870 Hill Co, Tx
and 1880 Robertson Co, Tx census'."
Sue this was a correction I posted when I found out I was on the wrong track.
Yes, I too am certain Susan A. and Elizabeth [Baggett] were sisters. According to Susan's age on the 1850 census she would have been 16 in 1854 when she married my 2g-uncle. If I can find a copy of their marriage license, I have a feeling someone would have had to sign her permission to marry (as James' mother did for him) or a will/estate for Andrew B. Baggett naming his dec'd daughter Susan's chn... I would then have proof of Susan's parentage.
Sorry about your messages getting returned - my ISP seems to do so pretty often...
I really appreciate your suggestions and thoughts on "proving Susan" but I have been our family's historian for nearly 23 years so I know most of the ropes - not all, so don't stop suggesting!
