I have been told that my great grandmother Georgia Terry Wilcher was a Black Indian.
Recently, I found the surname "Terry" in the "Black Cherokees" list of the Dawes
Commission.

My ggrandmother resided in Marion and Taylor counties in Georgia where she was married to
Sampson
Wilcher. They had a total of 5 children together.

Any connections? Where do I search now?
