We have not been able to connect Bright Watson earlier than the 1830 census. We
have not been able to associate him with
mother and father, nor sisters and brothers.

The Bright Watson family was in Duplin County, NC for the 1830 census, Marion County, GA for the 1840 census, and in
Dale County, AL for the 1850 census.

See below for more info on family.
Thanks. Francis Watson in Tallahassee, FL.

The Bright Watson Homepage at:
http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/s/e/x/Janet-W-Sexton/ is being updated. There is
now a photo of a large group of family members. You will need to scroll left to view the entire group. Many of these individuals
have not been identified. If anyone can help, your input would be greatly appreciated. The photo is believed to have been taken
in Enterprise but could be in another of the surrounding areas....Geneva or Dale Co....at home of one of Bright Watson's
children. Bright Watson moved from Duplin Co NC to Marion Co GA around 1834 then to Newton, Dale Co AL by 1849.
His children married and moved to Slocomb, Clintonville (Indigo Head), Haw Ridge, Rocky Head (Ariton area)and Enterprise.
His wife was Mary..1808-1888...bur. Pilgrim's Rest Cem. Houston Co West of Dothan. Their children: William Pinkney, David B.,
Joseph Howell (m. Nettie Cariker), Issac Anderson (m. Georgia Hudson), Sarah Jane (m. Thomas Harris), Elizabeth (m. Thomas
Holloway), Mary (m. Jefferson Myers), Frances K. *daughter, and Louise.
