Reuben McDaniel (1874-?) and Mattie LNU McDaniel (1874 - ?) living in Marion County, GA in 1880 and 1900 (census). Children: Sally Cora (1893-1928), Susie (1895-?), John (1897-?).
Sally Cora McDaniel married Joseph White Daniel (my grandparents) on 5 Feb 1909 in Marion County, GA. Joseph was the son of William Allen Daniel (1860-1928) and Lou Ellen Peebles (1860-?). Sally and Joseph Daniel and Allen and Lou Ellen Daniel are buried at the New Life Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion County, GA.
Reuben McDaniel was the son of William W. McDaniel (1844-?) and Mattie E. LNU McDaniel (1844-?) in the 1870,1880, 1900 census of Marion County, Ga. William W. and Mattie McDaniel had the following children: William K. (b1867), John W. (b1871), Margaret (b1873), Reuben (b1874), Henry D. (b1875), Genie V. (b1878), Lucy S. (b1880), and Ezekiel (b1882).
Does anyone have any information on the McDaniel families?
I initially thought that Reuben was the son of Harris Daniel of Marion county but have bee unable to prove this line.
I am also looking for the cemetery in which Reuben and Mattie are buried.
