Don - we have discussed previously the Singleton's of Marion Co. I have visited the Tazwell area and contacted several Singletons, but it was by phone and I sent some info to one lady, which included the info you gave me about Eliza Singleton,b 1819 that married Needham Bryan, b c 1800, in 1838 in Houston Co. GA. The Bryans, Singletons and maybe other families moved from Houston Co., GA to Schley/Marion Co., GA area, around Tazwell, GA. after 1850. Needham and Eliza with children were in Houston Co., GA. in the 1850 census. I'll have to look for the name ...seems that I talked with Shirley McPhail and she has a sister an brother in that area.

Eliza is the dau of Biggers (or Biggus) and Rachel Singleton of Houston Co., GA and you gave me sveral generations back.

I'm always searching for more info on my Bryan - Singleton-Perry connection (and possible Bacom or Baker)
