From the 1830 census records it can be seen that there were two Frederick Deans, one in Franklin and one in Morgan. The one in Franklin had in his household one male under 5, one male 10-15, two males 15-20 and one male 40-50; also one female 5-10, one female 10-15, one female 20-30, and one female 40-50. The one in Morgan Co. had in his household one male 10-15, one male 15-20, one male 40-50 and one male 50-60; also one female 15-20, and one female 20-30. Since Franklin Co. adjoined Elbert Co. until 1854 when Hart Co.was created, the Frederick Dean who was in the 1820 Elbert Co. census was in all probability the same Frederick Dean who was in the 1830 census of Franklin Co.
