Thank you for writing. I have been to Elizabeth's grave and also to John R. Booth's grave, but did not see her brother or the memorials to Harbert Tucker and Eleanor. This is very interesting. I wonder who put the memorials there and when. I am descended through John Wiley Booth and Nancy Adeline Pledger's daughter, Essie Catherine Booth who married Artice Calhoun Johnson (my grandparents).

They were all from Elbert Co., GA, but my grandfather worked for the railroad and they moved to Monroe, N.C. and then to Richmond, VA where he died. I was born in Richmond.

I went to J.R. Booth's grave in the woods 3 or 4 times to clean it off but have not been able to get back in about 3 years. I live in TX. I hope someone is able to go there once in a while and keep the area cleared. I would even pay someone to do that. The person who owned the hill used to live across the road in a new house he built when he bought all the land from the family. That is when they tore down the cabin. I have an old copy of the article, and a copy of the booklet published by the family when Elizabeth Catherine Tucker Booth died. Do you have that? I think it has been published on line also. Anne Booth has done so much of that for us. Her husband is descended from this family also. I believe she lives in TX too.
