This may or may not be the John F. Brooks you are looking for. There was one John F. Brooks b. 9/19/1837 Ga who married Mary Willis 3/6/1868 Worth Co Ga. He was in Co B, 10th Ga Battalion CSA and was wounded, losing his right hand 5/24/1864. He died in Worth Co Ga 12/21/1918 and was buried there in Brooks Family Cemetery.
