I've heard nothing except that it was the gold rush of Georgia that drew them in from Henderson Co.,NC. Some of the descendants found at Lumpkin Co.,Georgia an old store ledger just after 1835 recording the names of "Joseph Fletcher"; "Reuben Fletcher" and "James Fletcher".... I'm hoping to obtain a copy and will let you know
