Hi,

I would also like information on Mourning Hutcheson. If she was indeed married to Daniel Hyden, then it appears that she may be my great-great grandmother. My grandmother was Betty Mae Hyden, daughter of Daniel P. and Evie R. Hyden, son of Daniel Hyden, apparently by his second wife Mourning.

In the 1870 Census, the name of Daniel's wife appears to be Mourning, a 45 year old white female born in South Carolina. I read on another posting that she might have been Native American. Would love to know more about that!
