I just recently started doing some detailed research on the Lee family. I have hit a blockage on Nancy Lee.

Annie (Anna), Lee daughter of Ephriam and Kaizah Watkins Lee, married John Nicholas Whisnant in Dahlonega. They are my gggg gandparents. My grandmother was Missouri Elizabeth "Lizzie" daughter of Jefferson W. "Barto" Whisnant who was the son of John Nicholas and Anna Lee.
"Lizzie" married Thomas Gilbert Chambers, son of William Henry Chambers who married Nancy Lee. It is believed that she was the daughter of Ephriam Lee.

I was wondering if you might have some info on Nancy Lee. From census records it appears, due to ages in census, that William Henry (aka Henry, William, HW) may have married another Nancy sometime after the death of Nancy Lee who was my grandfather's mother.

I don't know if you have seen the book about the history of Lumpkin County or not. In it it has a lot about Ephriam and can be purchased from the Lumpkin County Library.

Hope you might be able to help me and any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thomas Gilbert Chambers and "Lizzie" Chambers had 12 children. My mother, Nellie Pitman, the oldest daughter, is the only one of their children who is living. She is 97 yrs old and in a nursng home in Thomaston, Ga.
