Could James K. be James E. Crook, b.July 31, 1846. The census of 1850 gives James K. as 4 yrs. old at time. That would seem reasonable but I have no proof. I believe that Charles is my gggrandfather. Any help would be appreciated. My father spoke of an uncle named Tom in Washington, GA in 1950-1960 or so.
