Am looking for information on the life nd lineage of Robert (NMI) Carter and Josephine Lightsey, both buried in Brickyard Cemetary, Liberty County. They were my great-grandparents and they got married in Chatham County on September 5, 1875. Have gotten to their names, but no further. Have history after them, but not them or their ancestors. They resided in the Gum Branch area and one of their children Robert Franklin Carter, Sr., married Lula Elizabeth Wells, daughter of Columbus Wells and Mary Ann Groover (of the Peter Gruber line). Lula was my grandmother.
Any help on these would be appreciated.
