Isham Andrews d. 1788

Is there a resolution on Isham Andrews' pedigree. He married Rebecca May Norman in 1767 and he died in Liberty Co.,GA in 1788?

He is defnitely not the same Isham that was born in 1747 in Chesterfield, VA as the son of Isham and Elizabeth Dyer. This Isham clearly lived and died in VA (1747-3Oct145) and was survived by his wife Mary Perkinson.

He may be the son of Wiliam Andrews of NC(1691-1761)and Caterine Hill. My records show this son was called Isam or Isom, but it may have been spelled Isham in Georgia where phonetic spelling was widespread. This William had a son named Micajah. The Isham of interest also named a son Micajah.

The information I have on the Isham (d. 1788 Liberty Co., GA) is that he migrated from NC to St. Barthlomew Parish, SC (what is now Colleton Co., SC) and then to Liberty Co., GA arriving about the same time or a little before the Norman family also arrived from Colleton Co., SC.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
