Hi Ruth,
Death records weren't required in GA until 1913 or 1914 I think, so a public record is out. But, you might be able to find something on her from local newspapers published during that time. Not sure where you are, but if you are in Savannah try the Main Library on Bull St which has the obits going back many years. Also, try the Georgia Historical Museum on Whitaker Street which has edited volumes of the Savannah Morning News going back to the late 1700s or early 1800s.
