I am seeking information of the parents of Narcissa Adella Andrews. She married George Washington Shaw in 1868 in Liberty County. They had two children. George died. She remarried John Z. Devereaux (Devero) C. 1870's. One source has her parents as Robert Quarterman Andrews/Martha Amandar Cater (Carter), but searches of the Midway church birth records and both of the 1850 and 1860 census for Georgia do not show her as their child. Indeed, all other R. Q. Andrews children can be documented, but not her. Her stated dates are b. 24 Apr 1847 and d. 14 Apr 1916. She is reported to heve been brn in Liberty County, GA. My mother's notes (in my baby book) have her being born in Savannah, GA.
She is my great grandmother.
