Thank you for resending the information because I did not receive the previous one. The inscription information on the cemetery stones are so informative. My Cooper Family information goes back in Savannah to 1817 when my great, great, great, great-grandmother was born somewhere in Georgia, and the Cotton Family to Darien around 1830. The Cotton Family may have actually been in Savannah prior to that time. I do know that one of the family members that I have been researching within the Cotton Family lived in Effingham County, GA prior to the American Civil War, and in the 1860 Federal Census of that county gave New York as the birthplace of his father. The Doctor Cotton whom you listed in the information that you sent to me gives his birthplace as New York. Thank you for your kindness and wonderful assistance.
