I don’t have any additional information on Missouri Watson, except I’m pretty sure Dave Watson (b.01/16/1884;d.10/26/1961) is not Missouri Watson’s father - - - maybe mother or sibling (?). I feel pretty comfortable that a Mary Watson was Dave Watson’s mother and she was not married when Dave Watson was born. Also pretty sure Isham Malphus Flowers (b.11/01/1890;d.06/12/1947) is a son of James William Flowers and Missouri Watson. [I came across this information in researching ancestor data on my uncle Wallace D. Watson (1898-1961) that married my father’s sister, Annie Swindell (1903-1980) and my uncle Isham Malphus Flowers that married my mother’s half-sister, Alma Vernell Groover DeLoach (1899-1983). Wallace D. Watson is Dave Watson’s stepson and biological son of Rachel DeLoach (1880-1960), my mother’s aunt.] Hope you are not completely confused by this. Tried to keep a long story short.

I’m very much interested in the “newly- found granddaughter” of Isham and Alma Flowers. I have followed this a little, but would appreciate more. Could you elaborate more on it? I’m the sort of ‘self-appointed-genealogy-researcher’ for the annual 1st cousins annual reunion, the grandchildren of Shelton I. DeLoach and Arra E. Groover. I’ve also been compiling data a few years for a publication on the ancestors and descendants of Shelton Isaiah DeLoach and Arra Eneze Groover. I can see light at the end of the tunnel and maybe a final draft soon. Please post data or send to my e-mail. Thanks, Earl Swindell
