I am related to a Moses Liberty Jones (b. about 1810 d. 1851) who lived in Liberty County GA. His father was Samuel Jones (1767-1836) and grandfather was Samuel Jones (?-1771)

His family probably moved to Ga from SC in the last half of the 18th century.

Samuel Jones founded Jonesboro in (what was at the time) Liberty County Georgia.

The family I have for Moses Liberty Jones and Sacharissa Elizabeth Axson has the following children:

Laura Clifford Jones (1832-1911)
Leonora Jones (1838-?)
Eugenia Jones (1840-1920)
Clara Elizabeth Jones (1845-1912)
Clifford Jones (abt1851-?)

I am looking for the parents and origin or the elder Samuel Jones.
