Renee, Thought I would just pass this along. I came throught Tallapoosa, Ga. under I20 south to Bowdon and took either 43 or 34 to Wedowee, Ala. Just after I crossed into Ala.. a cem. on side of road. Marker read In Memory of Samuel McDonald born Feb. 15, 1812 died June 19, 1879 Hark ye strangers as you pass me by as you are now once was I as I am now you soon will be take up the cross and follow me
One will slow down driving after reading this. I don't know if I was anywhere near Lee County Georgia, but I was North of Lee County Alabama.
James Key
