Lord Family Reunion Oct. 10, 2009

There will be a Lord Family Reunion on Oct. 10, 2009 at Ebenezer Church near Toomsboro, Ga. for the descendants of William Lord. He was a Revolutionary Soldier and came from Maryland to Georgia. He is the ancestor of most of the Lords in the area.

There will also be a dedication of the Revolutionary marker for William Lord and a dedication of markers for Jesse and Joseph Lord who were Confederate Soldiers.

Lunch will be served at noon time. The committee will provide fried chicken and each person is asked to bring a covered dish to share. A large crowd is expected so if you are coming, you might let Jimmy Lord know so that they can estimate numbers. His e-mail is
