I am looking for any information pertaining to a William Williamson (and his family) b abt 1780 in SC and died bet 1840-1850 in Laurens Co, Ga.

A possible wife is Lucy...last name unknown. In 1850 a Lucy Williamson age 70 is in the household of Henry and Nancy (Findley) Williamson who were married 12 Nov 1847 in Laurens Co, GA. Others listed: Lilla Williamson 22, William Williamson 11, William Williamson 6, and William Williamson 1.

The 1810 census for Abbeville, SC lists a William Williamson. He is not on the 1820 census for SC. The 1820 census for Laurens Co, GA lists a William Williamson and his is the only Williamson family (that I could find) in Laurens Co, GA. It also listed another female between the ages of 0-10, which is the right age for Elizabeth Williamson b abt 1810, 2nd wife of Reuben Warren (m 1844 & d abt 1853 in Laurens Co, Ga).

Georgia Cherokee Land Lottery, 1832
about William Williamson
Name: William Williamson
Number: 155
County: Laurens
Comment: soldier of late war.; granted previous to the first day of January, 1838

ANY INFORMATION is gratefully appreciated.
