Churchill Gibson (my 3rd Great Grandfather) bought lot #82 from Dolphen Floyd for $1,200, the deed states there was a mill on this property, on the south side of Tobesofkee Creek.
Churchill Gibson owned this property when he died in 1839, Monore Co GA.
Would you know where this mill and creek were located? I am interested to know if there is any signs of where the mill was or if there is any written information about the mill.
I have located the Churchill Gibson home place, but did not see the Tobesofkee Creek.
Milton
