Isiah Holmes b. 1819 was also from the Macon GA area. We are trying to put him with a father. Several older family members were told that his mother was a full blooded Musgokee Indian. Does anyone have any info on any of this. Isiah married 1840 to Elizabeth Morris of Jones County GA. She was the daughter of Taylor and Abigail (Nothern) Morris. Isiah and Elizabeth moved to Coosa County, AL about 1845.
