Abraham (Abram) Beasley Sr was indeed from NC, Hanover county, I believe. you can see in the 1850 census, when he was with his third wife. He had married first in NC and did have several children (Rachael and Martha, I know of) before he moved to georgia in the early 1800s. He was a RW soldier. I have posted quite a bit of information on Ancestry.com. The young abraham was from his third marriage and seem to get oddly confused by some. go figure. they are buried not far from augusta georgia.
