Thanks Nancy. I have this info which someone, maybe you, had posted before. My lineage is thru Sarah Marshall Jenkins Covennah. I have not been able to find any records of either a Nicolas Jenkins marriage or Joseph M Covennah marriage or any documentation beyond this will of Joseph Marshall's. Do you have any idea who might shed some light on this for me. Any of the older Quinney's who might remember something about Sarah and her marriages? She ultimately married a John Moore but that was after my ggrandfather and his brother, Frank and sister Jane Covennah. I did find that Benajah A. Moye was appointed guardian for a Joseph Jenkins, a minor, orphan of Nicholas Jenkins Court date Jan. 10, 1853 but that still doesn't tell me who his father was.
Since I had always heard there was some Indian blood in our family from my Mother's side of the family, I thought there may be some connection to the Joseph Marshall of Coweta.
Any ideas as to my plight to locate these missing links?
