Searching for any descendants of JOSHUA Watson residing in Jefferson Co. GA (1820 Census)(Will dated 1827). Known Watson children: Michael, Rebecca, Penelope, Sarah, Temperance, Celia. Joshua's son, MICHAEL Watson (b. 1798 GA) married Pency Raiford, 1819, Jefferson Co. GA and moved to Sabine Co. TX 1836, rearing their family near Hemphill, Sabine Co. Their children: Thomas B. Watson, Katherine J. Watson, Joshua H. Watson, Arthur C. Watson, Michael R. Watson, Jacob Moore Watson (all born in Georgia, all grew up in Hemphill), and possibly James Hobbit Watson, born in SC. I wish to correspond with any who know of this family.
