There was a SIMPSON out of the Roger DANIEL line. One of the daughters of James Lewis DANIEL (1813-1879) and Matilda Ann GANT of Eufaula, AL married a SIMPSON. The GANTS were out of NC and James L. DANIEL was born in Warren Co., NC. His parents were Zadock DANIEL and Elizabeth Ann LEWIS.
