Chesley Hay and Catherine Whitlock

I am searching for my third great-grandparents, Chesley and Catherine Whitlock Hay who were married in Jasper County Georgia on 13 April 1820. They appear on the 1820 and 1830 census'for Jasper County Georgia and then evidently moved to Randolph County, Alabama and appear on the 1840, 1850, 1860 and 1870 census reports. My gg-grandmother, Parthenia Hay who married Harden Jones was their first child, born in 1821.
I found Chesley in Robert Davis' History of Jasper County, Georgia indicating that Chesley had left Jasper County, Georgia, indebted to two individuals who filed suit after he had left the County
I have encountered a brick wall attempting to identify their parents. There are no families in the 1820 census of Jasper County, GA , who could be identified as parents. I have not been able to identify them anywhere and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
