You should contact Mr. James M. Hurst, 3463 Spring Creek Drive, Conyers, GA. His book on the Hurst/Montgomery families is in its third printing. It's a huge work on the Hurst family and I would consider Jim to be the foremost authority. (Jim is my cousin in the Montgomery line.)
