My records indicate that Peggy (Margaret) Higginbotham married Robert Culbertson, also of Jasper County. I have been trying for years to find which Culbertson/Culberson family Robert belongs to, as I cannot comfortably fit him into any, although I am leaning to the Samuel Culbertson family, as Robert handled some of the probate transactions. Several pieces of information indicate Robert, Margaret and family went to Leon County, Florida between 1820 and 1830. Robert either died or disappeared there, because Margaret and her children came to Brazoria County, Texas in 1839. I have extensive Brazoria County records. My email address is LindaPound@aol.com or StormCnter@aol.com.
