You had helped me some time ago about a marriage record for my ancestor George Ray. The marriage record said he married Mary Darnell in 1811. I ordered a copy of the marriage record and I could see why the transcriber listed her name as Mary Darnell the way it was written but it was Mary Dearing or Deering. This is what I have not been able to find and thought you might have some records you could find that could help me if you don't mind. Researchers say George Ray died in 1819 in Jasper co Ga. He lowned land in Jasper co Ga but I can not find a will or letters of Adminsstration. The land had to have been left to someone. His land was right on the Jasepr co and Morgan co line. I doubt he left Jsasper co since he would have been close to eighty if he died in 1819. I don't know if the research who posted that he died in 1819 was correct since there were no records posted anywhere proving that. I thought you might know how to find a will for George Ray to show who he sold his Jasper co land to or left it to. Thanks, Ross
