I am searching for the burial site for a CIVIL WAR VETERAN born Aug. 15, 1841/2 and died on Feb. 23,1919 at 10AM, at the Old Soldiers Home in Atlanta Georgia. At his request, his son, Richard?This should be Robert M. Ford Jr, living in Forsyth, which was crossed out and Agatesville Georgia was added in it's place. Is there any listings for names buried in that area? "Adgatsville." I feel that his son would have buried him in the immediate area. I have tried several times and at quiet an expense to obtain a death certificate to no avail. I am at a loss as to how the Georgia Archives would have the date and time of his death but still am told there is not a death certificate for this VETERAN. I thank you for your time and attention.
