Looking for family of Robert/Rolin/Rowland Hutson/Hudson. Known siblings: Frederick Hudson, Ward Hutson/Hudson, and sister, Elizabeth who married Nathaniel Harrison Smith...most likely in Oglethorpe county, GA.
Both Frederick and Robert were apparently "of age" by 1802....as only Ward was at that time "in guardianship"?
It is known that a land sale in 1815 of the father, John Hudson, dec'd, of Lunenburg county, Va., took place. Apparently the eldest brother, Frederick Hudson, of Oglethorpe county, GA., was set as the representive of the siblings. At that time, Robert was residing in Jasper county, GA., and his wife, Candes, signed her dower rights in that location.
Sometime later, it is found that this Robert may have had at least two sons, names unknown.
Not known how long the family may have remained in the area, or how many of them there was. Any information or connection welcomed. I have the information on the other two brothers, but not the sister. My direct line is from Frederick Hudson who moved on into Noxubee county, Mississippi by 1837. Ward had moved on into Monroe county, Mississippi.
