There are a lot of Williams in New Prospect Meth. but do not see this couple. Only saw two cemetery list transcribed on one site but I recall seeing whole list of all cemeterys- thought it was on genweb but could not come up with it. they did some changes. However, did come across someone else who put a query on Loots web for your couple: James Williams & Barbara Toney Family in 1800's Georgia

This information was taken from the Genealogy of William Toney found at
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/r/i/d/Brian-P-Rid...
This Genealogy shows William Toney b. 1768 Virginia to be the son of Sherwood Toney and Lorinda England and the brother of the John Toney who is found in a number of census living in Franklin County Georgia. William Toney had other brothers including Micajah born about 1766 in Goochland Va, Sherwood "Sherrod" born 1769 VA, and Charles b. about 1775 VA d. Franklin County Ga. There is a post on ancestry.com message boards from 29 Jan 2001 that states "Col. Wm. Toney died at Ft. Gaines, Clay Co. GA. on Nov. 6, 1857" This may or may not be the same Col. William Toney. These sons of Sherwood Toney, and there could have been others, were born at such dates that they could have had a daughter born about 1802, the estimated date of birth of James Williams' wife Barbara.
