Is there anyone who has information of George Washington Cooper b 1819 NC? I am descended from his daughter, Mary Jane who married James Fletcher. James & Mary Jane had a daughter, Lettie, who was my grandmother. Lettie died in Hampton, VA in 1957, I believe.
I find George in Florida 1860 Hamilton Co with one wife and 1870 with one named Mary E(last name unknown).
Plus who was Mary Jane's mother? I would like to know how many times George Washington married?
