I am looking for any info on the family of William Akins Sr. and Mary o'Quinn. There were several children born to this union, 17. Wm/, Archibald, Martha, Deborah, Ezekiel, Faithy, John, and James all born in S.C. Lewis, Nancy, Mary, Stephen Oscar, Ira, Sarah, Elizabeth, Panthian, and Francis, all born in Houston Co., Ga. Stephen Oscar is my great great grandfather, b. 3-25-1833d.10-21-1926 in Confed Soldiers Home in Atlanta, was m. to Mrs. Delila Louisa Eliza McClendon Scofield on 2-1-1816. She was his 2nd wife. and dau. of Dennis McClendon Jr. and Elizabeth Maxwell. Stephen's son, James Lewis Akins was my great grandfather and Ida Mae Estoria Akins my grandmother.
