My George Remer YOUNG was born "somewhere" in Georgia in 1799. He resided in Twiggs County 1830 & 1840 for sure. He married @1824 to Mary Ann GILLEY/GILLY. I "heard" the GILLEY's were from Houston County. I also "heard" that Houston County has some Twiggs County records.
I am looking for ANY info on this George Remer YOUNG & the GILLEY/GILLY family. I can't find anything in Twiggs County. George Remer YOUNG & Mary Ann GILLEY YOUNG had these children all born in Twiggs County: Elizabeth, John, Nancy A., George Jr., William M., & James Ellis YOUNG, all born between 1826-1840.
