He was son of Mary Polly Nail and Ephriam Henry living around Bear Creek area 1834 until 1860.Ephriam died sometime in there, his father. He went to the civil war with his brother sept 1861 and came home around 1864 from Augusta. He found his mother Mary and was married and had several children-William-Sarah E.-James A.-Jesse J.-C.
C. Conilia-Martha E.-Miles M.-and his mother was 73 in the 1880 census of Henry Co. and a couple living with them named Martha A. Moon 53 and a William Cathey 48.I have some of his grandsons death certif. living around Temple in Carroll Co. dying in 1920's.I would like to get a death date on Stephen M. Henry and maybe where he was buried being a Civil war veteran? In 1880 they were living around McDonough, Ga. Maybe even something of a Pension she might have filied for after the war?? He also had another brother Reuben Henry that was married before the war and served in another Reg. the 44th.I don't know Stephen's wife's name except Mary like his mother. They were probably married abt 1866 or before and as soon as he came home from the war.Anything would be helpful. Also he was a farmer all his life.
