Luther William Walker was born on 2/11/1822 in Harris Co. GA. He was the son of Virgil Homer Walker and Ann Champion Bell. Luther William Walker married Mary Victoria Thompson, daughter of Henry Bradford Thompson and his wife Louisa Sophia Cratin. He died on June 14, 1888 in Union Springs, AL, Bullock Co. He had the following children:
1) Theodore Thompson Walker (1852-1912)
2) Mary Victorine Walker d. 8/8/1888, m. James H. Troutman.
3) Henry Bradford Walker (1855-1906) m. Mary Kennon.
4) Corrine Walker m. Warren Reid.
5) Benjamin Walker (1858-1885)
6) Ella Walker, (1859-1941) m. 1) Frank Scott Boykin and 2) F. C. Holman.
7) Merriott Walker, d. 1930, Selma, AL.
8) Sally Walker d. 1902, m. Olin Barnes.
9) Josephine Louise Walker, m. James Walter Long.
10) Mozelle Walker, m. Henry Hall Hunter.
They had at least these children and perhaps one or two more. Would like to correspond with any descendants of Luther William Walker and Mary Victoria Thompson. Will be glad to share any information that I have. Charlotte G. Boykin
