Sorry about AOL. That started happening when I upgraded to AOL 6.0.
The marriage records of Harris County show that John W. Baker married Elizabeth J. Baker on January 21, 1861. I only have the census of 1850 on my computer. I searched it and found that in 1850 William C. Baker, 28 yrs old, Overseer, born in GA, married to Elizabeth Baker, 27 yrs old. born in GA, with children Menil C., 5; Samuel M., 3; Nancy C., 1. All children born in Georgia. I have no way of telling if this is the same Elizabeth Baker. I searched the cemetery records for Harris County and found no Baker names that matched these people.

From the above, Elizabeth in the 1850 census would have been born in 1822 or 1823. Does these dates match your Elizabeth? I hope this small amount of information will help some.
