Elizabeth Vardaman (1847-1931) & the Harris Co Vardaman's

I am trying to trace an Elizabeth Vardaman (1847 -1931), a widow. In the 1880 census, she is living with her young daughters and her widowed mother, Nancy Martin, in Hamilton, Harris Co. I am trying to identify which Mr Vardaman she married. It may have been Christopher Charles Vardaman (b 1838) the oldest son of Thomas & Emily Vardaman of Harris Co, who was invalided out of the civil war in 1862. I can find no date of death for him but Elizabeth was widowed by 1880 and she claimed a civil war pension in the late 19th century.
If you know anything about Elizabeth and her family or about CC Vardamanís close family I would be grateful to hear about it.
Many thanks
