What do you know about Homer Virgil Walker? My great, great grandfather married Mahala Vaughn in Oglethorpe County and then moved on to Merriwether or Harris. He was in the 1870 Harris census. He and my great grandfather were named Benjamin F. Walker. I see the same names in my line. There was a Virgil and a Clifford, the name of a GA governor. My great grandfather moved on to Randolph Co., AL. I have seen a History of Harris County that has many names and marriages. I have a few pages from the book.
I don't know where my older Benjamin was born. I thought he could have been related to your Virgil.

Ann
