I visited an old homestead today across the water from the Blanton Creek Campground in Blanton Creek Wildlife Mgnmt area,Harris County. All that was left was a large rock chimney with a fireplace on both sides and an old basement or root cellar on one side of the chimney. The wall of the cellar is eroding the base of the fireplace and it looks like it will eventually fall over. I was wondering if you knew of this homestead.
