Can anyone supply information on any Bakers who were living in Harris County around 1860? I have information that my ggrandfather, Rev. John W. Baker married his second wife Elizabeth J. Baker, whose name was unchanged by marriage according to my records, on January 21, 1862 in Harris County, GA. His first wife, Catherine H. Funderburk, died September 12, 1860, presumably in Tallapoosa County, AL. I am interested in knowing how Elizabeth J. Baker may connect to my Bakers since her name was unchanged by marriage. Could she have perhaps been a cousin, or the wife of a brother?
