If you are still in a position to do look ups in Harris County, I was wondering if you could look into something for me.
In the area known as Mulberry Cove, in at least 1850 and 1860 Harris County census, there was a John C. Brazell and wife Elizabeth. John C. is a 'grocery keeper'. His wife Elizabeth, was the widow of Thomas Maynard, who died in Troup or Muscogee Georgia.
They appear to have died between 1860 and 1870, and the property they occupied appears to be owned by the Kimbrough's in 1870 and the area is called 'Hamilton'. A James Kimbrough is now the 'retail grocer merchant' and a nearby Henry Kimbrough is a retail merchant.
This Brazell and his wife (who had children from her Maynard marriage) would surely have left a will. I'm hoping there will be some family details in that will, if it can be located. They either left the property to the Kimbrough family (who may be related, trying to determine that), or could have just sold out to them.
Any help would be appreciated,
