I recently learned that my Grandfather, David Henry Moye, b. May, 1880 in Clinch Co., Ga. was married in Harris Co., GA to Alice Stricklan in April, 1899. They were divorced, appearantly because she invited some "traveling strangers (men)" to sit on the porch with her and drink water while my Grandfather was not at home.
This is the first link I've had to Harris Co., Ga. and it leads me to believe that he may have been related to your Moyes there. His parents were John Moye b. 1840 and Eliza Wilson b. 1843. Any connection?
