I am helping a friend with her family research and her grandmother was Willie B. Smith, b. 1884. Willie's father was a William B. Smith, b. Dec. 1850 Harris Co.,Ga. His father was a William T. Smith, b. abt. 1820 Ga. (wife named Amanda on the 1850 Ga. census). I am at a brickwall here. Can someone help, I will be willing to share my friend's info. I noticed that there are two early Wills(before 1850) in Harris Co. One was a Hugh Smith. Could this William T. Smith's father have died in Harris County, Ga. I have not read the Heritage of Harris Co., Ga. book. I image that there are lots of Smiths in it, since the 1850, 1860, etc. censuses show so many Smiths living Harris County, Are they all related?
