Leslie,

This family is sometimes spelled Aldridge but more often spelled ARLEDGE and came from Fairfield and Kershaw Counties of SC. Samuel ARLEDGE, b c 1797--son of Moses and Huldah Arledge--and his wife Mary/Molly left SC in the late 1820s and were in DeKalb Co GA in 1830 and Harris Co GA in 1840, then went across the state line into Coosa Co, AL. Here are my records. If anyone is associated with these families please contact me at wilsonpam@mindspring.com (my Arledge Family History website is http://www.geocities.com/wilson_pam). Thanks!!
