Jenkins of Harris Co 1840's

I am looking for informantion about the parents of my gg grandfather Richard Jenkins who married Martha Elizabeth Mooney (Jun 6 1865 Harris co ) Richard and his siblings are found on the 1850 census of Heard co living with Phillip and Rhoda Jenkins Mooney.

Nancy A Jenkins b: abt 1837
Richard Jenkins b: abt 1840 ....... (later married Mary E. Mooney)
Thomas Jenkins b: abt 1842
William Jenkins b: abt 1844

Thomas Jenkins is found later to be married to Lavonia Stubbs. They are buried at Chipley Cem. now called Pine Mt cemetery. I don't have any information on William and Nancy A, however, Richard and his family settled in Dekalb Co AL. They are buried at Trinity Methodist (burnt church) on Sand Mountain.
The 1880 Census of Harris Co has Thomas and Richard's family living near each other and in this census it states that the parents were born in GA, but in the 1900 census of Dekalb Co Al the birth of Richard's parents is stated as being SC.
This family has to be related to some of the other Jenkins families in the Harris Co area at the time. I would appreciate any help with this information. Thank you JYW
